About Farah Dawood, MD, FACC

Dr. Dawood grew up in San Diego and earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. She later graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Dawood finished internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina. She graduated from Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship with a NIH funded master’s degree in clinical research training at Wake Forest University. Dr. Dawood returned to San Diego to complete her electrophysiology training at the University of California, San Diego and graduated in 2018. Dr. Dawood is fluent in Arabic and Chaldean. Every patient and their family have their unique needs and Dr. Dawood’s goal is to design an individual treatment plan to help each patient achieve the best outcome possible.
